Let’s start 2023 off on the right foot with a refreshing holiday hike at the beautiful Camp Helen State Park for our Sunday Service!
Led by Charissa Thacker, we’ll meet at the UUFBC to caravan out to Camp Helen, where we’ll take a leisure hike through the pines and scrub oaks. There is a lot of interesting park history to explore or you can venture out to the gulf! With a variety of accessible options, there is something for everyone.
For after the hiking, pack a lunch and join us at one of the picnic tables overlooking Lake Powell, a marvel in itself as part of the rare dune lake chains along the Emerald Coast.
**NOTE – there is a small entry fee PER CAR at the gate, cash only
