Join us for a leisurely hike on the Econfina Section of the Florida Trail. This section wanders through a beautiful wiregrass prairie, along a scenic lake, and through a revitalized Long Leaf Pine forest. Participants of the day will determine the length, but approx. 3-5 miles.

Trailhead is located on Hwy 20, approx. 5 miles EAST of Hwy 77 on the north side of the highway. We’ll meet there at 9am.

Anyone needing to carpool or caravan can meet at the Winn Dixie parking lot in Lynn Haven at 8:15am. Please bring plenty of water, sturdy close toed shoes, and comfortable clothing. Bug spray is also recommended. We may stop for lunch on the way back, if the group is interested.
