What IS Unitarian Universalism anyway?
Have you ever tried to answer this question? Explaining who you are as a Unitarian Universalist is a difficult task. What we do here is so unique that it’s hard to give someone a simple but coherent answer. But yet, there are so many people out there hungry for a place like this, a place of acceptance, community, questioning and service, that it’s worth a try to share who we are and what we’re doing. Because you never know who out there is a Unitarian Universalist but they just don’t know it yet.
That’s where the Elevator Speech comes in. The Elevator Speech is your concise statement about what Unitarian Universalism is to you.
This workshop will be an opportunity to reflect on what Unitarian Universalism is to you and figure out how to express it, to answer these questions, in just a few minutes. Join us for an evening of reflection, articulation, and support from your Fellowship.
Childcare and light refreshments will be available.
