Part of a series of workshops designed to explore the UUA’s Congregational Study Action Issue, Escalating Inequality.

Here are some of the questions we will consider:

What are the different elements, factors, and signals that play into class? ?What was the story you were told as a child about your family’s class? ?How has class impacted your life choices and opportunities? In what ways have elements of class made your life easier? In what ways have elements of class negatively impacted you? ? How is class related to religion/spirituality for you personally and for us collectively as Unitarian Universalists? ? Why do you think some people believe that the United States is a classless society?

We will talk about our own personal stories.  If you  have time, please read this handout, and be prepared to tell your story.
