AUGUST 1ST:

“Open Mike Discussion on Happiness” facilitated by Tiffany. Most philosophies and religious traditions seem to hit on this topic at least a little. For some it is the whole purpose of life. What makes you happy? How do you make yourself happy?
Bring something that makes you happy to our potluck afterward.

AUGUST 8TH:

“A Song’s Best Friend: The Music of John Denver” Ken Sizemore presents a musical program based on the music of John Denver. Paul McAuliffe will accompany him on some songs.

AUGUST 15TH:

“Transhumanism and Technology” Friend of the Fellowship Bruce Johnson presents a talk that will get us thinking about who we are, and where we’re going.

AUGUST 22ND:

“General Paganism” Canova Henderson gives us some basic and insightful information about what pagans believe, how they practice their spirituality, and what it has meant to her.

AUGUST 29TH:

“Poetry Open Mike” facilitated by SerenaDee Latiolais. Come share your own poetry, or one of your favorites by another author, or just come to listen. This annual event is always fun.

CALL TO ARTISTS

The UU Fellowship of Bay County is looking for artists to participate on a continual basis in a revolving exhibit to be hosted at the UU Fellowship Hall. Artists will be allowed to display their works for up to two months at a time before changing out their works or exchanging the space with other artist(s). There will be space for an artist to hang several pieces and is a good opportunity for artwork exposure. If interested please send samples of your work to info@uuofbaycounty.com.
