Winter is upon us December 21 as the winter solstice brings shorter days and and longer nights. In the northern latitudes the weather can turn bitterly cold while we in the south have a more temperate climate. For generations peoples around the world recognize this time of year in various traditions.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Bay County will observe this tradition with a Holiday lunch on Monday, December 25, beginning at noon with our meal to start at 12:30. The fellowship will provide a baked ham and we ask that members and friends bring dishes to share.

Come and be part of family at the UUFBC. Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations with the goal of a world community living peaceably with liberty and justice for all are mainstays of our principals.

If you are willing to volunteer a couple hours to help set up and clean up, please contact Helen Johnson at (850) 624-4116.
